New Muster Procedures
Effective
2 July, 2010
Officers
of the Army of Alabama, <salute>
First I would like to thank everyone for taking the time
to muster each month. Mustering is a very important
activity for the army and only takes a few minutes to
accomplish. In a club like ours it is the equivalent of
taking role call at a gathering. It lets us know who is
present and still active. We also distribute the
monthly OBD points based on who has mustered for the
month. We are asking all to muster by the 25th
of each month so that the monthly reports can be
prepared in a timely manner.
As
I believe most of you are aware we lost our old muster
system in the middle of last month, so starting in July, we have a new muster system, developed by
General Don Adams (ANV), which can be found at the
ACWGC Automatic
system
(Department of Records ‘DoR’).
Please use the
to navigate all Club
websites:
To
use the new muster system, login to the
ACWGC Automatic system
(Department of Records ‘DoR’)
and
then click on "Reports".
When the Reports
page comes you will find the "ACWGC Muster"
in the lower left hand corner, click on it. Now you enter
any comments you wish to make about games you playing,
ideas that you have, problems you may be experiencing,
etc. and then hit the Submit Muster
button. This musters you for the month and you will get
an email confirming that you have mustered. If you
don't get a confirming email then let me know as we need
to update your email address at the DoR. That is all it
takes to muster, easy and quick! The new system
will also update your rank automatically where as on the
old system we had to go in and manually change your
rank. And while you are at the DoR you should look
around at the other reports there, especially the ones
tailored just for you as there is a wealth of great
information there.
Now
for Corps Commanders, Division Commanders, and anyone
else who wants to see who has mustered for the month all
you have to do is go to "Reports"
and right next to "ACWGC Muster" you will see "Muster
by Army
Report"
and click on this. Fill in the drop down boxes 1)
Select Army 2) Select how you want to see the report,
alphabetically, Order of Battle or
Date.
3) Put in the start date of the report 11/01/2010 and
the end date 11/31/2010 then hit
Submit
and you can see everyone who mustered for that time
period in the army selected.

Order of the Commanding General,
