Army of Alabama Discharge Notification:
 
Sir,

Your assignment to the Invalid Corps is about to expire shortly.

At this time I need a confirmation of your intention to remain with the Army of Alabama. If you are experiencing difficulties outside the club that prevent your participation at this time a leave of absence could be arranged. However, I still need to hear from you to make that happen.

At this point you have three options available:

1) Return to active service and participate in the club, including the monthly musters.

2) Request approval of a Leave of Absence.

3) Resign your commission and withdraw from the club.

Failure to respond to this communication within seven days will result in your being discharged from active service.

A discharge from active service will mean re-entering the CSA as a recruit, should you choose to return at a later date.

Your response in this matter, regardless of your decision, is greatly appreciated.
