| Purpose: | To provide uniform guidelines for the maintenance of OOB and OBD records. | |||||

| 1. OBD's: | 1.1 Army Commanders will maintain an OBD for each officer within their command. | |||||
| . | ||||||
| 1.2 The ACWGC Automated System will suffice for any record older than three months. | ||||||
| . | ||||||
| 1.3 Army Commanders will maintain records of monthly reports and OBD changes for one year. | ||||||
| . | ||||||
| 1.4 The Officer Battle Dossier (OBD) will consist of the following: | ||||||
| . | ||||||
| 1.4.1 A record of at least three month's activities for each officer. | ||||||
| 1.4.2 A tally of each officer's battle results, for the purposes of determining eligibility | ||||||
| for medals and awards. | ||||||
| . | ||||||
| 2. OOB's: | 2.1 The ACWGC Automated System maintains the official order of battle for the Army. | |||||
| . | ||||||
| 2.2 An OOB may be maintained at the Army Commander's Discretion at Army Headquarters. | ||||||
